The decision to rebrand WMCD to Youth for Change may have seemed like a quick announcement, transition, or update. But behind the scenes, months (and even years) of strategic planning, thoughtful conversations, surveys, iterations of visual identity, and hours of debate stood behind the transition into our newest chapter.

The sixth annual event will bring hundreds of middle and high school students together for 25 hours of games, music, activities and fundraising for three local nonprofits.

The WMCD name became associated with many things over the years: themed all-nighters, fundraising events, opening ceremonies, youth leadership opportunities, and so much more. But more than anything, it became associated with a group of people who believed that young people could make a difference when given the opportunity.
